Before Setting Up Your Classroom

Before setting up your classroom a series of actions to get ready to provide effective and quality services to your students.

  1. The first step is for teachers to read the student’s IEPs (not just current past ones too).
  2. Read students FBAs and BIPs.
  3. Read students eligibility paperwork.

Equipped with this information you will know the different academic, social, functional, and behavioral needs in your classrooms. And it will assist you in using proactive strategies to address and build a positive learning climate to address each and every student’s needs.
